Adelaide Atheists

The Adelaide Atheists are a group of atheists, skeptics, agnostics, freethinkers, and antitheists formed around the Meetup.com group of the same name.

We meet once a month for a casual chat at The Astor hotel, and have an activist group that get together every fortnight or so at The Payneham Tavern. Over the last year, the group has reached over 100 members and has spawned a number of working groups that are focusing on community, activist, fundraising, and educational activities.

Our members come from all walks of life, united by a common skepticism regarding religious beliefs and attitudes, and a concern for the negative impact that religious individuals and organisations have upon the global community.
