Bertrand Russell rocked, hard. And yes, he spoke plainly, frankly and directly, at a time when religion was much more powerful and prevalent than today.

Indeed, Sir.
He was, and remains, a paragon of intellectual clarity, but especially: intellectual honesty.
Peddlers of pathetic political piffle would do well to emulate him.
