Church Tribunal in Adelaide finds ex-Bishop Guilty
A special tribunal of the Anglican Church has found eight of nine conduct charges proven against former bishop of the Murray Diocese, Ross Davies.
But on what charges?
The most serious were “bullying” and even worse: attending church services held by another denomination!
When their churches, (especially those in the area that Ross Davies served), are in the very thick of child-abuse scandals, and cover-ups of same, you think that Anglican Tribunals would have something more substantive on their lists.
But no, instead of getting off their arses and investigating (say) conspiracy to conceal multiple infant-rapes, they charge an ex-bishop with the more serious crime of attending another un-noticeably different branch of their Jesus death-cult.
I could say something about the Anglican Church official’s priorities, but you have probably cleverly spotted the problem by yourself.
