Another One Bights the Dust! (Perhaps)
Whilst the tax-exempt Salvation Army does some wonderful works in Australia, they feed people nourishing food, but mixed with great sodding dollops of poisons and toxins, in the form of vigorously attempting to infect their altricial victims with a deadly virus.
The mind-virus of religion. Using our taxes.
They had, and have, a choice: continue with the good works, and abandon the venemous ethics-coagulant. It serves no beneficial purpose whatsoever! (If the volunteers are truly honest, that is.)
Or: Stop whinging. Go out of business and leave it to secular interests to support the needy.
The Salvation Army says a dispute with Newcastle council over the construction of a new church at Hamilton could jeopardise the future of its worship services in the city.
Why do they need a new church, for fuck’s sake?
Can’t the money be better spent on say, a warehouse for donated goods? (Rhetorical question, by the way!)
Of course, they could always start The Salvation Navy, and feed the whales. All whales are implacably atheist.
After a lengthy debate about restrictions on congregation numbers and the loss of car parking space, the council last night deferred a decision on the development for a further three weeks.
Major Kelvin Pethybridge says the proposed restrictions make the project unworkable and if it does not go ahead the city may lose its Salvation Army presence.
“This is the last Salvation Army church we have in Newcastle,” he said.
“We have committed a lot of resources into making this come to be and be a place that is going to positively impact the community.
“If we’re not able to do that then we’re going to have to rethink our future plans, as far as the Salvation Army in Newcastle is concerned, for a worshipping community.”
Rethink? Think? The wholly FSM help them from such perfidy!
The sooner all faiths evaporate in a puff of logic, the better.
