Priests must report abuse confessions: Xenophon
The Roman Catholic Criminal Cult is again being urged to remove the ’sanctity of the confessional’ for child abuse cases.
I say: Remove it for ALL cases. Even trusted physicians are obliged to report serious criminal offenses that they uncover in the course of their duties, but priests? Oh no, they consider themselves to be far more important than any surgeon or G.P.!
South Australian Senator Nick Xenophon says the law requires priests to report sexual abuse cases to the police but not if they learn about them in the confession booth.
“Where someone has confessed or has given information in relation to child sexual abuse, that should be notified to the authorities,” he said.
The so-called ’sanctity of the confessional’ excuse expired centuries ago, and has been abused ever since by priests, again in their interests to retain a private law for parasites.
