The Journal Personality and Social Psychology Review, (Vol. 14, No. 1, 126-139 (2010)), studies the correlation between religiosity and racial tolerance, and guess what?

Is it titled: “Why Don’t We Practice What We Preach? A Meta-Analytic Review of Religious Racism” by Deborah L. Hall, David C. Matz & Wendy Wood.

Executive Summary of the abstract:

…a strong religious in-group identity was associated with derogation of racial out-groups.

Only religious agnostics were racially tolerant.

Note well, anyone who makes claims that religion promotes tolerance. This study says quite the reverse.

Note well as well: Only religious agnostics were racially tolerant. (This includes, of course, atheists.)
