Hitchens on the Pathetic Pædophile-enabling Pope
I had made it a policy to not report on every article about the most foul depraved & corrupt tyrannical genocidal war-criminal theocrat in history1, because it would be a Sisyphean task.
Christopher Hitchens has another article about this mob-boss, the leader of the worlds largest & oldest criminal organization, in Slate.
The Pope Is Not Above the Law
Click on it and read it.
Even the blindest most rabid Catholic (who does not support institutionalized child-torture & child-rape) is forced to agree that the current Pope is a lying sack-of-shit.

“Mr Barkun said the group was a millenialist group that ‘’seems to be preparing for warfare in the end of times against what they see as the forces of the Antichrist. They regard that struggle as imminent. They apparently believe that the saved will have to fight through the tribulations against the forces of the Antichrist.”
“They believe the world is about to end according to how it was written in the Bible, and their job is to stand up and clear the way for Jesus and fight alongside him against the forces of darkness.”
… if Jesus was all powerful, he wouldn’t need any help in a fight, and particularly not from these rednecks.

Quite. That kerfuffle reminds one of just how astoundingly infantile are the minds of these poor ignorant folk.
Astonishingly so.
That is OK in very young children, but alarming when infant minds possess and are in charge of muscular brutal bodies, armed to the teeth with military killing machines.

Anthony Fisher begins his sermon with lies and quite probably ends it with lies too, it seems.
“GODLESSNESS and secularism led to Nazism, Stalinism, mass murder and abortion,”
Nazism clashed with the Catholic church because they were both totalitarian ideologies. Hitler needed Catholic support in the 1930s to take full control over Germany, and the Catholics needed Hitler’s support to continue their religious practices unfettered in Germany.
Stalin was an atheist, yes, but atheism wasn’t the reason Stalin murdered millions of his countrymen.
I’m surprised that Fisher mentions these false denunciations of atheism while not acknowledging the very clear role that religion has played in many wars and atrocities.
Perhaps he should look again at the fundamental question, “Does God Exist?” and start talking for the necessity of religion only when he has shown a reasonable probability of the truth of its fundamental premise.
