What dross!
They start with a set of bizarre fictional assumptions, and try to fit reality around them as though they were historical events.
Anyone who starts by assuming that the Magi nonsense has any basis in fact is bound to be:
* Ignorant
* Wilfully delusional
* Wrong
* Unscientific to the point of being anti-scientific
